Loss Prevention Associate - $16.50 for 1st shift, $18 for 2nd Shift, and $20 for 3rd shift
The primary purpose of a Loss Prevention and Safety Associate (LPA) is to protect the associates and assets of Ross. The LPA should proactively strive to support a safety‑first culture by enforcing and maintaining the company's established processes for facility safety and security and prevention of accidents and injuries. The LPA shall conduct safety audits and monitor for fire hazards, proactively identify and urgently resolve safety matters affecting associate safety.
The LPA must respond to critical incidents, assess the situation, and make first responder decisions. The LPA shall maintain a post and monitor the assigned area of responsibility, conduct patrols, security audits, and utilize tools, technology, and processes for impacting shrink by discovery, investigation, and resolution of theft.

- High School Diploma or GED required
- Strong command of English, both oral and written
- Well‑developed interpersonal skills that include the ability to diffuse and resolve conflict situations
- Basic computer skills and ability to complete data entry
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Job frequently requires standing, walking and reaching throughout the shift
- Additional training and certifications will be provided and must be passed within the first 90 days
- Full‑time associates can earn up to 27 days off annually: sick time, vacation days, anniversary (and ½ year anniversary), birthday (and ½ year birthday), and holidays
