• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, hydraulic, diesel‑powered equipment.
• Perform inspections and test equipment for proper operation.
• Install and repair parts, including engines, transmissions, drives, winches, pumps, compressors, controls, and electrical systems.
• Complete paperwork (parts requisitions, timecards, service reports).
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and systems.
• Maintain service truck and equipment.
• Ensure total customer service through direct interaction.
• Represent Blanchard Machinery professionally, arriving on time and communicating throughout the repair process.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years of heavy equipment experience required.
• Previous experience on CAT equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques and repair procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics and service manuals.
• Advanced operating knowledge of equipment and operating systems.
• Ability to operate lifting devices and use diagnostic equipment.
• Familiarity with electronic cables, connections, and sensors.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
• Commitment to accuracy, organization, and prioritizing tasks.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to handle stress in a fast‑paced environment.

• Work both inside (non‑climate controlled) and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
• Use personal protective equipment to prevent injury or hazardous material exposure.
• Stand, stoop, squat, push, pull, twist, turn, and lift heavy items.
• Use broad tools and machines for maintenance and repair.
• Lift varied weights.
• Read, write, and use computers to complete job responsibilities.
