Service Electrician

Minimum Experience Requirements for Service Electrician

5+ years in the electrical service field, including commercial/industrial maintenance or service. Other relevant experience would be work in the fields of HVAC, plumbing, lighting/appliance repair, and low voltage or telecommunication installations.

Additional Requirements and/or Expectations for Service Electrician

• Applicants must possess High School diploma or GED.
• Applicants must pass a mandatory drug screen.

Specific job duties/responsibilities include the following:

• Industrial, commercial, and residential electrical systems repair, maintenance, and installation
• Troubleshooting
• Customer service
• Ability to handle service contracts, work orders, change orders, and billings
• Daily, weekly, and/or monthly reporting as requested by the department manager
• Periodic support of the company’s commercial construction operations as needed
• Increasing and/or promoting the company’s visibility and image in the community
• Additional duties as may be assigned from time to time by the department manager
