HVAC Service Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a keen understanding of schematics and the ability to troubleshoot various HVAC equipment effectively.

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine system requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot issues.
• Perform property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
• Repair or replace defective components in heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems.
• Weld components as necessary for system repairs or modifications.
• Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs.

• Proven experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex systems.
• Familiarity with property maintenance practices related to HVAC systems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
• Experience in welding is a plus but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of air conditioning systems and refrigerant handling is essential.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
