Safely operate a tractor-trailer equipment in various configurations, with 53’ dry van, including drop and hook, spot, switch, and interchanges;
Perform thorough pre-trip inspections and post-trip defect reports as prescribed by FMCSA and company policy;
Maintain accurate driver’s logs and ensure compliance with hours of service and related paperwork;
Communicate with Dispatch/Operations regarding stops, movements, cargo conditions, delays, and equipment issues;
Ensure shipping documentation accompanies deliveries and verify load information with dispatch
