Position: Account Manager

Bonus Structure: In addition to base pay, this position offers a competitive monthly incentive plan that rewards both team and individual success. The incentive includes:

  • Team Performance Bonus based on company-wide gross margin and load count achievements.
  • Individual Performance Bonus tied to your own margin and load count (uncapped).
  • KPI Bonus based on metrics like margin %, revenue, and operational quality this bonus is performance-weighted and can earn you up to $300/month .

Top performers consistently exceed base expectations with monthly bonus earnings, and high annual performers are eligible for a year-end bonus of up to 1.5x their annual incentive target.

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with customers by addressing their transportation needs and concerns. Working under close supervision, you will contribute to sales strategies and collaborate closely with the Carrier Sales team to ensure that freight arrives safely and efficiently. The role focuses on account service, load coordination, relationship management, and performance reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Acquire loads from customers via phone, email, and load boards

Distribute loads to Carrier Sales Coordinators or Manager

Build and grow customer relationships

Achieve budgets and drive continuous improvement

Analyze and prepare data for RFQs and business reviews

Resolve escalated pick-up, in-transit, and delivery issues

Stay informed on FTL and LTL brokering regulations

Operate within companies internal systems and tools

Qualifications:

Required:

High school diploma

Industry experience in transportation or logistics

Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Preferred:

2+ years of customer-facing logistics experience
