Recreational Arts Instructors (Education & Instruction)

We are looking for private music instructors who share the philosophy of “Learn to Play From the Heart.” The instructor will provide one‑to‑one music lessons for students in the Rock Island, IL area, primarily via in‑person sessions in a student’s home, your own home or studio, or via webcam (the majority prefer in‑person).

• Teach and develop personalized lesson plans for students of all ages and skill levels.
• Travel to students’ homes within the Rock Island, IL area or conduct lessons in your own studio when requested.
• Maintain punctuality and professional communication with the Taylor Robinson Music office.
• Adhere to COVID‑19 safety protocols, including mask wearing, hand sanitizing, and social distancing.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as lesson scheduling; marketing, advertising, and billing are handled by the company.

• Formal music training is not mandatory, but you must possess either a degree in music, enrollment in a music program, professional performing experience, or prior teaching experience.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
• Organized, reliable, and punctual.
