Upper Mississippi River Restoration Program
The candidate selected for this position will lead the Upper Mississippi River Restoration (UMRR) Program, or a similar program, for the St. Paul District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The UMRR Program has delivered vital ecosystem restoration projects throughout the Upper Mississippi River.
This regional program requires significant collaboration and strong communication skills.
The successful candidate will represent the St. Paul District and work closely with the Rock Island and St. Louis Districts, as well as Federal, State, and local partners.
As a project manager, you are responsible for the overall management, control, coordination, and execution of assigned projects.
Implements corporate decisions, guidance, laws, regulations, and policy in the development of the project and intermediate products in support of the project.
Negotiates and integrates all district functions, sponsor/customer needs, and other agencies commitments in support of assigned project into a comprehensive management plan.
Coordinates the planning, design, cost engineering, construction, and environmental restoration, etc. for engineering projects of substantial scope and complexity.
Controls and manages project milestones and budget from planning through construction and initial operations.
