Duties
Helps makes recommendations to the DE/DDE/DPM and senior leaders in establishing overall USACE and District policies, program objectives, resolving problematic situations and an overall evaluation of the progress of the mission support programs.
Oversees short and long-range planning to anticipate and address prospective changes in USACE missions, programs, priorities, and organizational requirements.
In the absence of the Deputy Commander, assumes the role and performs the duties and functions of that office as directed by the District Commander.
Outlines USACE and District project and program requirements, monitors execution, and initiates priority assignments based on changing conditions.
Provides expert guidance to resolve complex issues while maintaining oversight of all subordinate functions.
