Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med Surg/Telemetry night shift position requiring active IL and IA RN licenses and prior travel experience.

Job Details

• Work in a Med Surg/Telemetry hospital setting,

• Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with 12-hour shifts,

• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required,

• Floating to other campuses within the same discipline may be required,

• Uses Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration,

• Active IA RN license required or proof of application for IA or compact RN license,

• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required),

• Minimum of 2 years of previous Med Surg/Telemetry RN experience,

• At least 1 completed travel contract required,

• Valid driver's license required,

• Supervisory reference from within the last 2 years required,

• Skills checklist completed within 1 year required,

• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility,

Additional Information

• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide and manage patient care,

• Orientation consists of 16 hours with designated start dates,

• Expect to float across multiple campuses as needed,

• Required to work holidays as scheduled, with specific restrictions on time-off during the holiday season,

• Facility uses standard scrub attire,
