Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring active IL and IA RN licenses, and ACLS and BLS certifications.

Job Details

• Work in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a hospital setting,

• 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, three shifts per week,

• Every other weekend required,

• Floating expected across local campuses and to Stepdown units as needed,

• Average patient ratio of 1:5-6,

• Uses Epic EMR system,

Job Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration,

• Active IA RN license required; proof of application accepted if not active,

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required,

• At least 2 years of prior Med Surg experience required,

• Stepdown or Cardiac experience preferred,

• One recent supervisory reference required,

• Driver's license required for consideration,

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply,

• Role involves collaborating as a member of the interdisciplinary team,

• 16 hours of orientation provided at start,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility,

• Holiday coverage includes working 2 of 3 major winter holidays,

• Only one day of time off may be requested during specified peak holiday periods,

• No on-call required for this position,
