Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring at least 2 years of Med/Surg experience, with multi-campus float potential and every-other-weekend availability.

Job Details

• Work in a hospital Med/Surg Tele unit with potential floating to the Stepdown unit as needed,

• Float coverage may be required across multiple campuses (Rock Island, Bettendorf, Moline, and Muscatine),

• Patient ratio of 1:5-6,

• Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts with a 0645 start time,

• Every other weekend required,

• Charting via Epic,

Job Requirements

• Active IL RN license required; active IA RN license also required - if IA license is not active, proof of application for an IA single-state or compact RN license must be provided,

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required,

• Stepdown or cardiac experience preferred,

• Current certifications required: BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA),

• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration,

• Driver's license required for consideration,

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates,

• Travelers are required to work 2 of the following 3 holidays:
Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving,

• Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration,
