Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Assignment – Rock Island, IL (61201)

Travel Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in Rock Island, IL at a Level 1 trauma center — Oncology experience required. Join our healthcare team for a 13-week travel RN assignment in the Quad Cities delivering acute care nursing on a Med/Surg/Telemetry oncology unit.

• Setting: Med/Surg Oncology (4S - RI Unit) at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Assignment Type: Travel Nursing / Travel RN
• Start Date: March 23, 2026
• End Date: June 22, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour days
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• EMR: EPIC (required)
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2090-$2200/week

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois required;
  Iowa license preferred or willingness to obtain (travel nursing requirements)
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Stepdown
• Oncology experience required (Med/Surg/Oncology unit)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must have a taxable address outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility (travel RN requirement)
• Submission materials required: driver’s license, resume/work history, skills checklist (within 1 year), license verification, copies of certifications, and one supervisory reference

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on the Med/Surg Telemetry and Oncology unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, advance practice providers, therapists, social work) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, manage telemetry monitoring, and perform clinical interventions consistent with Med/Surg and oncology nursing standards
• May assume charge nurse responsibilities and precept new hires or travel nurses as needed
• Float within the same clinical discipline across local campuses when required
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
