- Our client is seeking a skilled SAP IBP Implementation Engineer to join a leading manufacturing client's Agile-based product team. The role will involve working on user stories that include enhancements to the existing APO solution as well as implementing the new SAP IBP solution.
- Our project team currently supports forecasting and sequencing functions within the SAP APO (Advanced Planning and Optimizer) suite. The future goal is to transition to SAP's next-generation forecasting tool, IBP (Integrated Business Planning).
- Minimum of 6+ years of relevant SAP implementation experience in Supply Chain Planning, including hands‑on experience with SAP IBP.
- Deep knowledge of SAP IBP business processes and solution architecture.
- Functional configuration and design experience with SAP IBP, specifically in the following modules:
- SAP IBP Demand Planning.
- SAP IBP Sales & Operations Planning.
- Practical and technical knowledge of SAP Cloud Integration – Data Services (CI-DS).
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to gather and synthesize business requirements from stakeholders.
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to work across multiple layers of the tech stack (e.g., batch job support, HANA view modifications, debugging, and issue analysis).
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Experience with S/4
HANA implementation. - SAP IBP Certification (preferred).
- Ability to read ABAP code; ideally able to write ABAP for data extraction and support of current APO functionality.
- Proven advanced analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
