Job Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for a Progressive Care Unit position in Rock Island, Illinois. The assignment lasts 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.

• Care for patients who require close monitoring but are not unstable enough for ICU.
• Use computer equipment to monitor cardiac and other vital information, detect changes, and intervene in emergency situations.
• Perform bedside tasks: stabilize critical cardiac patients, change dressings, insert catheters, start IVs, prepare, administer, and record prescribed medication, and report adverse reactions.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment, interpret electronic displays, and initiate corrective action as needed.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds; cope with stress and interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

• Registered Nurse with 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Ability to work 12‑hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, for 13 weeks.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
