Overview

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process.

• Provide nursing care to patients per the nursing process and current standards of practice.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to manage and coordinate patient care.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition in a timely manner.

• Number of beds: 48 total; average of 35 beds on the unit
• Type of care:
  Post Open Heart patients (after 24 hours in ICU), TAVRs, Watchman, Cardiac drips, Sheaths, TEE, Cardioversions; cardiac stepdown with a mix of medical-surgical patients

• 2 years current experience in PCU, Cardiac/Tele or Stepdown required
• Strong cardiac skillset and care
• Illinois RN license active at time of submission;
  Iowa RN license active or proof of application for IA license if IA license is not active
• May be asked to float across campuses:
  Bettendorf (IA), Moline, Muscatine (IA), TRI
• License verification
• BLS (AHA) or ARC certification (copy required)
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• References preferred
• Home/taxable address listed in profile (resume notes acceptable)

• Illinois Nurse Agency license must be active. This is NOT the Nursys report. This is an Agency License from the State of IL.
• Iowa Nurse Agency license must be active. This is NOT the Nursys report. This is an Agency License from the State of IA.

• Located at 2701 17th Street in Rock Island;
  Trinity Rock Island facility licensed for 327 beds
• Open visiting hours with restrictions at Robert Young Center and Riverside
• Level II Trauma Center emergency department; heart and vascular services; cardiac surgery and cath labs
• Cardiac rehabilitation services; multiple surgical suites; epilepsy monitoring unit and neuroscience services
