As a Telemetry RN, you will play a critical role in monitoring and managing patients with complex cardiac conditions. Your contributions will ensure the highest quality of care and patient outcomes.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
- Administer medications and titrate as needed, including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban
- Manage chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and timely in EPIC EMR
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- State license in IL required, IA on offer
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Experience with cardiac and open-heart procedures preferred
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
- COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
