Travel RN - GI​/Endoscopy

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring at least 2 years of endoscopy experience, Epic proficiency, and an active IL RN license.

Job Details

• Hospital/medical center GI/Endoscopy unit setting,

• Multiple facility locations available, including Level 1, 2, 3, and 4 trauma centers depending on site,

• Epic EMR required,

Job Requirements

• Active IL RN license required at time of consideration; IA RN license (single-state or compact) also required - may be pending at start with proof of application provided,

• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS,

• Minimum 2 years of endoscopy/GI nursing experience required,

• Hospital or medical center experience required,

• Epic EMR experience required,

• BSN degree preferred,

• At least one completed travel contract preferred,

• One supervisory reference from within the past 2 years required,

• Driver's license required for consideration,

• Must not have been employed by UnityPoint within the last 12 months,

Additional Information

• Candidates must have a taxable address located more than 50 miles from the assigned facility to qualify for standard travel rates,

• Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays:
Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving,

• Time-off requests during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday windows are limited to 1 day per period,

• First-time travelers are not preferred; at least one prior travel contract is recommended
