Jul 27, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit position requiring an active IL RN license and hands-on experience with drips, titration, and advanced procedures. Details PCU/Telemetry unit in a hospital setting, with trauma levels varying by location (Level 1–4)

Experience with chest tubes, femstops, trachs, CBIs, drains, and central lines required Vasoactive and cardiac drip management required, including Amiodarone, Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Isuprel, Milrinone, and Argatroban with titration EMR:
Epic Requirements Active IL RN license required at time of consideration; IA RN license also required (proof of application accepted if not yet active) Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required and must be active at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of RN experience required

Experience with advanced procedures including chest tubes, central lines, trachs, CBIs, femstops, and drains Proficiency with vasoactive and cardiac drip titration Driver's license required for consideration One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration Must not have been employed by UnityPoint Health within the past 12 months Additional Information At least one completed travel contract is preferred Candidates must have a taxable home address located more than 50 miles from the facility Travelers are required to work 2 of the 3 winter holidays:
Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving RTO during the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year's holiday windows is limited to 1 day per window Prior travel experience preferred but not explicitly required for first-time travelers American Traveler Job  P-729907.
