Traveler Position

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the traveler contributes professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients. The traveler may be asked to float within the same discipline across local campuses.

Orientation schedule:

9/8 9/21

Billable OT:

• 36-40 hrs/week, OT billable after 40
• 48 hrs/week, OT billable after 48

Summer holidays:
Traveler will be required to work 1-2 of 3 (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day).

• 2 years SICU experience [required]
• Must be comfortable floating across campuses if needed
• ACLS [required]
• BLS [required]
• NIHSS [required]
• At least 1 travel contract completed [preferred]
• Epic experience [required]
• State license [required]
• Not an employee of UnityPoint in the last 12 months [required]
• Titratable Sedation, titratable Pressors, titratable insulin. Heparin

• Copy of required certifications
• References - 1 supervisory reference required at time of submission [required]
• All candidates must be at least 50 miles from facility (based on drivers license).

Trauma centers:

• Madison, Sioux City, Bettendorf and Fort Dodge level 3 trauma center
• Moline level 2 trauma center
• Muscatine level 4 trauma center
• Rock Island level 1 trauma center
