Warehouse Inventory Data Entry Associate

Rock Island Auction Company (RIAC), the #1 firearms auction house in the world, is searching for a professional and reliable Warehouse Inventory Data Entry Associate. This position handles the rare firearms, military, and historic collectibles by unpacking, moving, handling, and documenting all inventory received for consignment.

This is an onsite, non-exempt, full-time position with dedicated hours Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST at our Rock Island, IL facility, with overtime and weekend hours as needed. Starting pay range is $21.00 to $22.00 per hour.

• Process incoming inventory using a high level of care and attention to detail.
• Complete forms and logs electronically, demonstrating high attention to detail.
• Tag, organize, and move inventory throughout the production area.
• Work expected overtime and required auction weekends and assist with auction duties.
• Assist with pickup, transport, and/or delivery of auction items.

• Intermediate proficiency with computers (including Microsoft Office) and office equipment.
• Ability to learn and apply ATF regulatory compliance and internal safety protocols.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with integrity.
• Valid driver's license (non-CDL) required.
• Ability to obtain a FOID Card (Illinois Residents Only) required.
• Routinely moving and transporting up to 50 pounds, traversing and moving for prolonged periods up to 100% of the time with frequent ascending, descending, or positioning to maintain moving and transporting consignor items.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in firearms industry or equivalent knowledge of firearms highly preferred.
• Prior work experience with supply chain management, inventory, material handling, or other related fields highly preferred.
