Multi-Departmental Clerk

Responsible for assisting and performing a variety of clerking duties including supply chain duties in the absence/presence of the facility Materials Manager.

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous experience in healthcare preferred.
• Experience with Healthcare Materials Management Information System preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office applications which include Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

• 1.Requisition/place routine and non-routine orders through the Information System, as required.
• 2.Receive routine and non-routine purchase orders through the Information System, as required.
• 3.Assist with setting and establishing min/max levels.
• 4.Assist with Capital Equipment Requests (CER) process.
• 5.Assist and perform semi-annual physical counts.
• 6.Deliver/distribute/replenish supplies & equipment to departments, as needed.
• 7.Assist Materials Manager in maintaining inventory levels.
• 8.Maintain information system item master, as directed by Materials Manager.
• 9.Coordinate return shipments and maintain return log.
• 10.Keep shelves and storage bins clean and organized.
• 11.Monitor back-orders.
• 12.Learn and assist with other building needs as time permits.

-The employee must be able to lift and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis and be able to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis.
