Job Description:
Work in an Emergency Room (ER) setting as a Registered Nurse (RN) on a travel contract in Rock Springs, Wyoming. This role supports a busy ED patient population while you stay grounded in safety, confidentiality, and teamwork. You will use T-system EMR for charting, Pyxis for medication dispensing workflow, and Telestroke as part of available clinical support resources.
Shift coverage is built around 12‑hour nights, and at least two RNs are always on the unit. Expect weekend requirements as part of the schedule, with standard daily shift blocks running 7a‑7p, 10a‑10p, 12p‑12a, 3p‑3a, and 7p‑7a. You will complete a 2–3 day unit orientation plus hospital orientation, then hit the ground running in the ER.
To be successful, you’ll bring a minimum of 2 years of previous experience, a Wyoming (or compact) RN license, BLS, and ACLS. PALS is required, with TNCC preferred.
