Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Our client, a leader in electrical equipment repair and maintenance, is seeking a dedicated Electric Motor Mechanic to join their team. As an Electric Motor Mechanic, you will be part of the Service Center supporting the maintenance and repair of electro-mechanical equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

- Repair special and standard AC and DC electro-mechanical equipment.
- Operate specialized repair and testing equipment to diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical issues.
- Perform dynamic balancing of rotor and armature assemblies, and replace or repair mechanical parts such as brushes, gears, and seals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
- Operate overhead cranes and medium voltage test panels safely and efficiently.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with at least two years of experience in electro-mechanical equipment repair.
- Ability to operate dial indicators, calipers, micrometers, and surge/megger testers.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and good hand-eye coordination.
- Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to follow safety procedures and use proper protective gear.
