Job Overview
CDL A Driver Hazmat – Nitrogen Pump Operator (Open) – Rock Springs, WY (ANS) – Customer service – N2 purging & inerting.
Primary focus: support the team with rig‑up and rig‑down of nitrogen pumping units and equipment on job sites, collaborate closely with operators running units, coordinate progress, obstacles, and process improvements. Drive company vehicles to national field locations, operate equipment in varied weather conditions, and coordinate schedules based on customer demand.
Responsibilities- Team coordination:
Pilot tractor‑trailers to deliver industrial gases to customers or storage sites. - Proactive care:
Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and address maintenance needs. - Safety partnership:
Report accidents, safety issues, and customer feedback immediately to ensure a secure environment. - Operational accuracy:
Complete and submit required DOT and company reports. - Work schedule:
Must be available to work in the field on assignment for 21 consecutive days and 7 paid days off. - Earn an additional $500 bonus per day if working during the paid days off.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Class A CDL with Haz Mat and Tanker endorsements.
- TWIC Card required.
- +1 year of tractor‑trailer driving experience within the last four years.
- +1 year of tanker driving experience within the last four years.
- Proficiency with manual transmission vehicles.
- High school diploma, GED, or two years of technical college or military technical experience.
- Forklift experience.
- Basic knowledge of cryogenic pumps, tanks, transports, hydraulic equipment, and diesel engines.
- Knowledge of industrial gases.
- Annual compensation potential above $100,000 with quarterly incentive bonus and unlimited $2,000 driver referral bonus.
- Travel: 80–100% domestic travel (private room, no roommate).
- Paid 7 days off; additional $500 bonus per day if working during those days.
