Corporate Controller – Manufacturing (Rosemont, IL)

Steven Douglas has been retained to identify a Corporate Controller for an established and growing $150M private equity owned manufacturing company located in Rosemont, IL working a hybrid in-office schedule.

• Coordinate and assist in directing all activities required in the monthly close process.
• Supervise a team of 5-6 professionals performing accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll duties.
• Develop internal control policies, guidelines, and procedures for activities such as budget administration, cash and credit management, and accounting.
• Assist the CFO by providing in-depth reporting for the manufacturing team, including labor and overhead analytics for the manufacturing performance so that production variances and factory spend are clear and easy to understand.
• Assist CFO with FP&A responsibilities including preparation of budgets and financial forecasting.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Certified Public Accounting (CPA) certification required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience in manufacturing or consumer industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of standard costing, inventory accounting, and cost analysis.
• Merger & Acquisition (M&A) integration experience preferred.
• Private equity experience nice to have.
