Roto-Rooter
, a premier provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services, is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join our team in Rockford . The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience or a degree in accounting. Experience in a customer service organization and familiarity with Service Titan and Sage accounting software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities Accounting and Bookkeeping
  • Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, general ledger, bank reconciliations , and collection calls.
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
Office Management
  • Oversee office operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment.
  • Handle office communication and correspondence.
  • Assist in developing and implementing office policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with employees of the branch
Customer Service
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Use Service Titan for managing service operations and customer interactions.
  • Microsoft Office including a good working understanding of Excel.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a customer service organization.
  • Prior experience using Service Titan and Sage accounting software is highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
