Responsibilities
- Provide real estate property tax consulting, assessment reduction, and appeal services for a multi-state portfolio
- Manage client relationships and oversee complex engagements
- Develop valuation-based tax savings strategies
- Direct hearing preparation and protest activity
- Coach staff in a highly interactive team environment
- Bachelor's degree required from an accredited college or university
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field preferred
- CPA, JD, CMI, or other relevant professional certifications strongly preferred
- 5+ years of real estate property tax, property tax consulting, or related experience
- Strong knowledge of real estate valuation methodologies, tax bills, assessment notices, protest hearings, and multi-state property tax processes
- Experience working with local taxing authorities and jurisdiction-specific appeal requirements
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, research, verbal, and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Experience using tax technology, PTMS, or other workflow/reporting tools
