Vice President, Assets Accounting – Digital Infrastructure

• Lead accurate, GAAP-compliant financial reporting for property-level and fund-level entities, including parallel funds and SPVs
• Review and manage fund administrator deliverables, including journal entries, capital calls, distributions, NAV calculations, and investor pricing
• Manage global audit, tax, and regulatory filing processes, including Cayman, Jersey, and Luxembourg
• Serve as a primary accounting contact for lenders and institutional investors, including debt compliance reporting and investor reporting
• Prepare and present accounting, budgeting, reporting, and accounting system matters to senior management and key stakeholders
• Oversee forecasting, cash flow planning, and fund return calculations
• Interpret limited partnership agreements, waterfall provisions, and financing documents to calculate investor returns, preferred returns, and carried interest
• Monitor and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures
• Build new processes using software and AI tools to automate supporting schedules, reconciliations, and financial reporting review
• Work with portfolio company accounting teams to reconcile property-level reporting to Blue Owl fund reporting monthly
• Assist with cash flow inputs to valuation models and communicate deviations to deal teams
• Review reporting submissions including AUM, returns, deployments, FX exposure, and liquidity

• Seven plus years of private equity real estate accounting experience
• Understanding of complex fund structures including foreign currency exposure and hedging
• Knowledge of REIT rules and tax implications, a plus
• Experience working with third-party fund administrators
• "Fair value" accounting background
• Understanding of debt agreements
• Ability to efficiently utilize excel spreadsheets and accounting software systems
• Experience interpreting limited partnership agreement, long terms lease and mortgages
• Experience with reporting investment activity to institutional investors
• Experience with Luxembourg, Cayman Islands, and Jersey filing requirements preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams working in multiple locations both in the US and abroad
• Strong ability to multitask and respond to urgent information requests while keeping weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting tasks on schedule
• Bachelor's degree in related field
• CPA preferred
