About This OpportunityOur client is a global EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management) firm with a significant, growing presence in the biopharma and life sciences facilities sector. They are looking to bring on a Subject Matter Expert to drive the strategic growth of their Biopharma Life Sciences Facilities business across the Americas. This is a senior technical and business-facing role - not a field construction position - for someone who wants to shape technology strategy, support high-value capital project pursuits, and act as the go-to technical authority for clients navigating complex GMP/cGMP facility challenges.
WhatYou'll Do
- Serve as the industry-recognized technical specialist for Biopharma Life Sciences Facilities projects
- Support business development and client account teams by identifying project delivery differentiators and value-added positioning
- Provide pre-sales support, feasibility evaluation, and preliminary design input to strengthen proposal efforts
- Mentor project teams and staff on design best practices, lessons learned, and regulatory/client expectations
- Maintain and grow relationships with past and current clients to develop new leads
- Introduce innovative approaches to process and facility design challenges
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Master's/PhD a plus)
- 10+ years of experience in biopharma/life sciences facilities - technology, operations, supply chain, capital equipment, or facilities planning
- Prior EPC/EPCM experience strongly preferred
- Experience in technology assessment (trends, opportunities, challenges) within a high-tech industry environment
- Strong client-facing and mature-industry-audience communication skills
- Ability to operate strategically while collaborating across remote teams and time zones
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
- Base salary: $,000
, commensurate with experience - Annual performance bonus: typically 10-20% of base
