Position: Event Guest Services Representative - Hard Rock Live

Job Description

The Usher ensures a seamless and enjoyable experience for guests attending live performances. The Usher assists guests with ticketing, provides directions around the theater, and answers questions about the show under close supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Assists guests with ticketing and seating arrangements, providing friendly and efficient service to ensure a smooth entry into the venue.
  • Handles and processes ticket sales and exchanges under close supervision, accurately recording transactions and maintaining an organized ticketing system.
  • Provides clear and concise directions to guests, guiding them to their assigned seats and assisting with any special seating requirements.
  • Collects necessary information from guests, such as feedback forms or surveys, to gather valuable insights and improve the guest experience.
  • Communicates important information to guests, such as performance start times, intermission durations, and any venue policies or safety guidelines.
  • Assists with inspecting and regulating the seating area, ensuring cleanliness, proper signage, and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Monitors and documents any incidents or disruptions during performances, promptly resolving issues or escalating them to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintains a professional and welcoming demeanor, addressing guest inquiries and concerns with empathy and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to remember details about the shows/venue.
  • Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed.
Additional Requirements
  • Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board.
  • Must successfully pass background check.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, flexible shifts, and/or unusual hours.
Pay Range

$2 - $50/
