Customer Success Manager, Event Operations About the Role

Fast Sensor is looking for a Customer Success Manager to own customer relationships and coordinate successful delivery across live-event measurement programs.

This is a high-touch, hands‑on role combining customer service, operational coordination, and analytical communication. You will guide customers from onboarding through event delivery, reporting, adoption, and continued partnership.

Because Fast Sensor uses sensor technology to measure behavior within physical environments, you will work with booth renderings, floor plans, measurement zones, and proposed sensor placements. You do not need to be an engineer or personally install the technology, but you must be comfortable understanding how plans translate into a physical space, gathering complete requirements, and coordinating closely with Project Management, Operations, Quality, and Data Products.

This role may require occasional travel and support outside standard business hours during active events.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as the primary post‑sale point of contact and maintain continuity throughout the customer journey.
  • Lead customer onboarding, discovery, and requirements confirmation.
  • Translate customer objectives, booth designs, measurement priorities, and reporting expectations into clear internal requirements.
  • Review booth renderings and floor plans to understand the physical environment and the questions the customer wants Fast Sensor to answer.
  • Partner with Project Management and Quality on measurement zones, sensor coverage requirements, and proposed placement considerations.
  • Coordinate operational details including final booth plans, installation timing, access requirements, placement constraints, and onsite contacts.
  • Identify risks related to incomplete plans, obstructed sightlines, installation access, placement conflicts, or late booth changes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer decisions, placement plans, project changes, and internal handoffs.
  • Provide proactive updates and manage customer expectations when scope, timing, placement, or deliverables change.
  • Serve as the customer‑facing lead during active events and coordinate internal issue resolution.
  • Partner with Data Products and Quality to help customers understand findings, business implications, and next steps.
  • Support adoption and retention, identify growth signals, and transition commercial opportunities to the appropriate owner.
  • Help improve Customer Success processes, templates, guides, and playbooks.
What We Are Looking For
  • 3 or more years of experience in Customer Success, client services, account management, project or program coordination, event operations, implementation, hospitality, or another high‑touch customer‑facing role.
  • Strong customer‑service judgment and a record of building trusted relationships.
  • Experience managing multiple customers, projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Ability to translate customer objectives into clear requirements, next steps, and internal action items.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and consistent follow‑through.
  • Experience coordinating across customers, vendors, operational teams, and technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to identify risks early and communicate difficult information diplomatically.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort learning technical and analytical concepts and explaining them clearly to customers.
  • Ability to balance customer advocacy with operational requirements and constraints.
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally support time‑sensitive needs during live events.
Helpful but Not Required
  • Experience in trade shows, exhibits, experiential marketing, agencies, hospitality, retail environments, or venue operations.
