Cardiology Hospitalist opening in Rockford, ILFull Time and Permanent Employment

Job Description :
We are seeking two Cardiology Hospitalists to join a well-established and growing program at a 350-bed tertiary care hospital with a state-of-the-art Heart Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a physician-led group providing excellent cardiology care to patients in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin.

Position Highlights:

Exciting New Program:
Two new Cardiology Hospitalist positions to expand the existing team.

Schedule:

Seven days on, seven days off schedule.

Collaborative Team:
Join a team of 10 cardiologists (four non-interventional, four interventional, and two electrophysiologists) supported by Advanced Practice Providers.

State-of-the-Art Facilities:
Work in a dedicated Heart Hospital with on-site diagnostics, catheterization lab, and surgical suites.

Advanced Procedures:
Perform procedures such as Watchman, Cardio

MEMS, ASD/PFO Closure, and TAVR.Comprehensive Services:
Access to Cardiac MRI and CT, as well as involvement in cardiac diagnostic interpretations.

Established Patient Base:
Serve a robust cardiology service line with a population of 750,000 covering a 12-county referral region.

Qualifications:

MD or DO, Board-certified or Board-eligible in Cardiology.

Must obtain Illinois medical and DEA licenses prior to hire.

Board certification required within five years of residency completion.

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary: $600,000 with wRVU production and additional incentives.
