Part‑time with full‑time growth potential; flexible schedule; 10‑30 hrs/week. Minimum one‑year commitment required. Tutors will work out‑of‑home at our learning center in McLean, VA. Teachers, college students, and retirees are welcome.

Responsibilities- Coaching and guiding students to meet academic goals.
- Teach one‑on‑one or up to three students per hour using proven reading strategies.
- Assist with schoolwork and help students master content when applicable.
- Follow a provided curriculum, tailoring it to each student’s needs and learning style.
- Demonstrate a firm, loving approach, setting boundaries and encouraging academic stretch.
- Base pay $20‑$25 per hour, commensurate with experience.
- $200 Signing Bonus after 90 days of employment.
- Consistent, flexible schedule:
Monday–Thursday 3:00 pm–9:00 pm, Friday 3:00 pm–7:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am–3:00 pm during the school year; summer schedule 9:00 am–8:00 pm weekdays, 9:00 am–3:00 pm Saturday. - Performance‑based raises and periodic bonuses.

- Must work IN‑PERSON at our learning center in McLean, VA.
- Commit to at least one year with the company.
- Available for a minimum of 10 hours per week, with at least two 3‑hour shifts per week.
- Bachelor’s degree or advanced undergraduate status with at least 60 credit hours.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to multitask and confidently tutor up to three students per hour.
- Passion for student success and teamwork.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; prior tutoring or teaching experience preferred.
- Read certification or experience with Orton Gillingham methods is a plus.
