Compensation Range: $43,642 - $91,830 per year. Placement on the salary schedule is based on verified, comparable education and experience. For more information on range placement, please review the REA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
To support the district's advancement toward digital learning and the integration of technology to enrich students' education. As part of the educational technology team, this position aligns devices, software applications, and other digital tools with the district's priorities in instruction. The Educational Technology Innovation Instructor works to support technology integration in classrooms and through building level support, design and facilitate blended learning for teachers as a part of district learning pathways, design and deliver district wide professional learning to a variety of teachers K-5, support teachers 1:1 or in small groups, or by building to create technology infused learning goals.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Ensures that all actions are in concert with the Board policies as well as the mission statement, beliefs, objectives, and parameters found in the Board's strategic plan.
* Participates in job training and professional growth opportunities in order to enhance ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
* Performs other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
* Integrate the ISTE (International Standards for Technology in Education) standards into the RPS core courses of study.
* Support district-wide education technology initiatives in alignment with the district's strategic plan.
* Provide professional learning experiences and pathways in collaboration with the district's professional development department to support integration of technology into high quality classroom instruction and effective school leadership in instruction.
* Under the direction of the Educational Technology Director, support effective and efficient systems and processes for implementing, sustaining, and innovating with educational technology across the district.
* Be a key contributor to complex short and long term projects with clear, specific goals aligned to the district's strategic plan and designed to maximize district resources. This includes but is not limited to internal staff as well as outside vendors.
* Maintain collaborative relationships with key central office personnel and departments to ensure alignment with curriculum and instruction, instructional supports, and assessment practices.
* Maintain a high level of engagement with advancements in the field.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Master's degree from an accredited college/university or comparable certification, preferred
* Demonstrated success of effective use of instructional technology in the classroom
* Demonstrated success/interest in leading adult learning and large-scale projects
* Background in coaching, continuous improvement, personalized learning, and district-level leadership
* Minimum of four years of successful experience as a teacher.
* Minimum of Proficient on last two evaluations
* Professional Educator License registered in Winnebago county

* Working knowledge of G-Suite, SMART, iPads, Chromebooks, Project-Based learning, and general instructional technology.
WORK CALENDAR: 9 Months
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Moderate in-district travel as well as intermittent in-state and out-of-state travel. Intermittent prolonged and irregular hours of work.
LENGTH OF WORK:
An educational Technology Innovation Administrator will serve a two-year term after which they will be placed back into their prior teaching position.
