Special Education Teacher
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree in relation to Special Education from an accredited college or university
- Applicants must hold appropriate Current Illinois (PEL) Professional Educator Licensure with Special Education Endorsement (LBS1)
- Excellent communication skills with students, teachers and parents
- Knowledge of current teaching techniques for students with disabilities
Ability to write & implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) - Ability to work cooperatively with support personnel on a daily basis
- Satisfactory special education teaching experience
- Experience with working with Elementary School-age students
