Adjunct faculty provide instruction aligned with the College’s strategic goals and evaluate students’ progress to facilitate achievement of their educational goals.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Associate’s degree in a related field with 4,000 hours of documented work experience OR, Journeyman status.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, and knowledge of electrical for industrial applications, motor controls, PLCs, hydraulics, fluid power, and pneumatics.
- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience, and knowledge of automation and robotics.
- Minimum 3 years’ teaching experience.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification
- Industry-recognized robotics or automation certification (e.g., FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa, KUKA, Siemens, or equivalent).
- Conduct assigned classes and/or labs
- Provide course syllabus (which shall include grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline and contact information)
- Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets
- Keep accurate record of student performance
- Provide students with timely feedback
- Provide Student Assistance
- Refer students to student support services
- Accommodate special needs students
