Job Description
Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.
Position Title: Full Time Special Education Teacher
Location: Plainfield, IL
Responsibilities:- Provide direct instruction using specialized teaching techniques and materials.
- Assess students' progress and modify instructional methods as needed.
- Use assistive technology and adaptive equipment to enhance learning experiences.
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and set goals.
- Valid State certification or licensure as a Special Education Teacher.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
- Experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
