Lincoln Trail Elementary School is accepting applications for a 4th Grade Teacher position beginning with the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering standards‑based instruction aligned to the Illinois Learning Standards and supporting the academic and social‑emotional development of elementary students.
Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging, standards‑based instruction in all core subject areas.
- Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student growth and achievement.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the academic, social, and emotional needs of all learners.
- Assess student learning using a variety of formative and summative assessments and use data to guide instruction.
- Collaborate with grade‑level teams, specialists, and support staff to support student success and enhance learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Implement district curriculum and instructional initiatives.
Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school‑related activities.
Qualifications- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Elementary Education endorsement.
- Strong knowledge of elementary instructional practices and curriculum.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to establish positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
