Full‑time position for a DHH Itinerant Classroom teacher in DeKalb, IL from August 2026 to May 2027. Orientation date: 8/3/26. School starts 8/11/26 and ends 5/21/27.

• Provide direct services to deaf and hard‑of‑hearing students: deliver specialized instruction and interventions as outlined in students’ IEPs.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and specialists to develop and implement strategies supporting academic and social progress.
• Maintain accurate records of all services, assessments, and interventions, ensuring compliance with IEP goals and state regulations.
• Participate in IEP meetings, offering expertise in accommodations, assistive technology and instructional modifications.

• Professional Educator’s License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement for teaching students with hearing impairments.
• Proficiency with school‑based technology.
• Fluent ASL signer.
