EMS Educator Job Rockford area,Illinois USA,Education / Teaching

Work schedule:

100% FTE, 7:00am-4:00pm, you will work at UW Health Swedish American Hospital 1401 E State St.

We are looking for an EMS Educator to:

Design and deliver EMS education programs including CPR, EMT, Intermediate, and Paramedic courses in accordance with established standards.
Evaluate and support EMS learners and staff through exams, continuing education, field supervision, and licensure preparation.
Develop curriculum and manage educational programs by maintaining course materials, records, equipment, and accreditation requirements.
Partner with EMS leadership and staff to support quality improvement, field performance evaluation, and ongoing professional development.

Additional components of compensation may include:

Evening, night, and weekend shift differential
Overtime
On-call pay

Work Experience

Prefer active EMT-P, RN with current field and teaching experience. Preferred
At least two years field experience in Emergency Services. Required

Licenses & Certifications

Within first year of employment must attain the following certifications;
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Instructor, Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support Instructor, Basic Life Support Instructor. Required
Bi-annual CPR certification. Required
Current Illinois Paramedic licensure within the State of Illinois. Required
