Special Education Teacher – 2026–2027 School Year

Pay: Starting at $45/hour
Birch Agency is Hiring!Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to provide elementary resource services for the 2026–2027 school year near Rockford, Illinois. This is a full-time, in-person opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners while collaborating with a supportive educational team.
Responsibilities- Provide special education services in a resource setting
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success.
- Develop and implement IEP goals and accommodations.
- Monitor student progress and maintain appropriate documentation.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Special Education endorsement.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs.
