Job Title
Middle School Teacher at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Academy – Chesterton Network School, Rockford, IL.
Responsibilities- Teach middle school students in the classical curriculum.
- Participate in the House system designed to promote character and virtue and to help students grow in holiness.
- Attend Mass with the entire student body.
- Assist in leading spiritual retreats and school activities.
- A bachelor's or master's degree is required.
- Three to five years of teaching experience is preferred, as well as experience in and passion for Catholic classical education.
- The candidate must be a practicing Catholic and be willing to make an Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium and a Profession of Faith.
- Excellent communication skills and a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
Full‑time position. Faculty members must attend Mass with the entire student body and assist in leading spiritual retreats and school activities.
