The Outreach & Enrollment Specialist (CEJA) is responsible for conducting outreach, community education, recruitment, and participant enrollment activities that connect eligible individuals to CEJA training and workforce opportunities. The Outreach and Enrollment Specialist works closely with participants throughout the enrollment and training process, including assisting with program navigation, eligibility documentation, access to wraparound services, participant support, and transition to apprenticeship or employment.

The position also builds and maintains relationships with community organizations, training providers, employers, and workforce partners to support recruitment, participant success, and alignment with regional clean energy workforce needs.

• Conduct CEJA outreach events, presentations and activities to share information on training and careers in the energy industry with diverse populations in the and ensure communication and marketing is delivered in underserved areas
• Create partnerships with regional educational institutions, community organizations, local employers, and labor unions to connect with eligible individuals
• Raise awareness of the CEJA workforce programs in the region by providing information to organizations, individuals and other relevant stakeholders
• Develop and maintain outreach and recruitment strategies, materials, presentations, and communications to support CEJA enrollment goals and reach eligible populations
• Provide appropriate referrals for individuals to training programs and assist in navigating the enrollment process to all CEJA-related programs
• Coordinate participant intake, eligibility documentation, enrollment, orientation, and onboarding for CEJA training programs
• Maintain regular communication with applicants and prospective participants throughout the recruitment, eligibility, enrollment, and training process
• Manage applicant pipelines, referrals, waitlists, and cohort enrollment to support timely placement of eligible participants into training opportunities
• Maintain accurate participant records and reports, including eligibility documentation, case notes, attendance, training progress, completion information, participant services, and other required program documentation in compliance with program requirements
• Share responsibility with CEJA program staff for maintaining complete and accurate participant records and ensuring required documentation is collected throughout the participant's participation in the program
