Join Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Annapurna Labs team as a Senior SoC Power Analysis and Optimization Engineer focused on advancing cloud computing technology at scale.
About The TeamAnnapurna Labs, a fabless chip start‑up acquired by AWS in 2015, develops custom chips and accelerators that power AWS Nitro, Graviton processors, Inferentia & Trainium and more. The team builds state‑of‑the‑art processors and works across architecture, logic, physical design and post‑silicon analysis to deliver next‑generation cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze SoC power consumption at pre‑ and post‑Si stages
- Contribute to SoC power optimization throughout the design cycle
- Work with logic & physical design, PDN and post‑Si teams to improve SoC power efficiency
- Optimize power team analysis processes to raise effectiveness of our work
- Solve challenging problems on a daily basis
- BSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in power analysis and optimization, logic design, backend design or chip verification
- Deep understanding of your domain and solid grasp of the overall chip design cycle
- Ability to handle multidisciplinary tasks across multiple chip design domains
- Strong communication skills and ability to cooperate effectively with other teams
- Proficiency in C, Python or Perl
