Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 base salary (DOE) + commission

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

This world-class, growing organization is a one-stop solutions provider for aftermarket machine tool spare parts, service, repairs, and custom-engineered manufacturing applications
. They are seeking a technically strong, customer-facing Sales Application Engineer to bridge engineering expertise with consultative sales.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys analyzing parts, solving manufacturing challenges, and developing turnkey CNC and automation solutions while working closely with customers and internal engineering teams.

• Develop comprehensive turnkey manufacturing solutions tailored to customer production requirements
• Analyze part prints and applications to specify CNC machines, automation systems, and tooling solutions
• Conceptualize and support automation, robotics, and integrated manufacturing systems
• Collaborate with internal engineering and machine sales teams to build accurate proposals, pricing, and timelines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
• Represent the full scope of company capabilities across machining, automation, and engineered solutions
• Work with management to execute territory-specific strategies that exceed sales goals
• Lead the sales process while identifying and developing new customer opportunities
• Support customers through technical consultation, account management, and training initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering
  , or related field (preferred)
• OR equivalent combination of education and hands‑on manufacturing experience
• 7–10+ years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or machine tool applications
  
  Strong background in CNC machine tool operation and programming
• Knowledge of automation systems, robotics, and turnkey manufacturing solutions
• Solid understanding of work holding, fixturing, and tooling design
• Prior experience in Applications Engineering, Technical Sales, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Industry certifications in manufacturing, CNC programming, or automation (preferred)

• On-site role with direct access to engineering and manufacturing teams
