Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of rotating equipment such as pumps, compressors, motors, fans, gearboxes, and turbines.
- Maintain and service fixed equipment including pressure vessels, heat exchangers, storage tanks, piping systems, and structural components.
- Oversee operation and maintenance of auxiliary systems including cooling towers, water treatment systems, and related piping and instrumentation.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
- Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, equipment manuals, and engineering documentation.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and contractors to plan and execute maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and system improvements.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS systems.
- CAT I Vibration Analysis certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably in manufacturing, chemical processing, energy, or similar heavy industry.
- Demonstrated experience with rotating equipment and fixed mechanical systems such as compressors, turbines, blowers, pumps, heat exchangers, cold box systems, chillers and cooling towers.
- Experience with vibration analysis, alignment techniques, and predictive maintenance tools preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in industrial environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with reliability centered maintenance (RCM) principles:
Spare Parts Management, Planning and Scheduling, TPM, CMMS optimization. - Proven understanding of precision maintenance standards in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as OSHA and industry specific mechanical integrity requirements.
