Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago Site Remediation Specialist
Perform professional site remediation work by monitoring investigatory and remediation activities at the field level. Supervise the collection and analysis of samples, assure site safety, and assist the Engineer of Site Remediation in the analysis and presentation of data.
Starting Annual Salary (TAM 17): $
Absolute Requirements- Registration as a Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist in the State of Illinois.
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Graduation from an accredited four‑year college or university majoring in civil, environmental or chemical engineering, geology, geological sciences, or hydrology, and four years of experience in environmental site remediation, including at least two years as a project manager of site remediation activities in the field. Graduate study in any of the above-listed academic areas may be substituted for the required non‑specialized experience on a year‑for‑year basis to a maximum of two years.
