Mechanical Engineer; Temporary

• Provide Analysis & Investigation for supplier and production Quality Notifications (QN’s)
• Drive support activities to closure
• Drive closure of Suppliers Requests for Information (SRI’s)
• Complete Engineering Changes (EC’s) including reviews with product definition team
• Complete Gatekeeper meetings
• Maintain communication through weekly updates of Change Requests, Deviation, QN trackers, and regular meetings

• BS or BA Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical related field with 2-3 years’ experience preferred
• Minimum AS degree with 5+ years of experience in supporting Quality Investigations and working with rotating type product
• Mechanical Aptitude and experience working quality issues a plus
• Excellent project management skills capable of closing issues out quickly
• Strong communication, teamwork, self‑motivation, and organizational skills
• Due to the nature of the work, you must be a U.S. Citizen

$30/hr to $33.00/hr.

This role is considered 100% on‑site position in Rockford, ILL. You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours. Shop floor environment may include but is not limited to extensive walking and ability to lift up to 40 lbs. No travel required. Due to the nature of the work, U.S. citizenship is required.
