Capital Project Engineer – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

• Preferably 10+ years of project/process engineering experience
• Familiarity with process equipment typically found in pharmaceutical/specialty chemical manufacturing industry including, but not limited to tanks/reactors, pumps, process piping, process instrumentation, etc.
• Experience with design of process equipment and systems including:
• P&t
• Capital project management experience – demonstrated ability to manage control cost, schedule, and quality to meet business objectives for small to mid-size capital projects

The primary function of this role is to lead the planning and execution of small to medium size capital projects supporting the API Pilot Plant and laboratories within the Synthetic Molecule CMC Research and Development organization of Client. The API Pilot Plant supports Client’s pharmaceutical pipeline through process development and manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs) for pre-clinical toxicology studies, clinical trials, formulation development, and registration runs.

• BS in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Pharma, Biopharma, or Specialty Chemical Manufacturing experience
• P&
• GMP and validation exposure
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
